What can I use Microsoft 365 Copilot for?

Microsoft 365 Copilot helps streamline everyday work across Microsoft apps by summarizing information, drafting content, and analyzing data.

  • Meetings: Summarize and format meeting notes using Zoom meeting transcripts
  • Word & Outlook: Draft and refine client emails and internal documents
  • Excel: Analyze and extract insights from your Book of Business, CRIA reports, and other datasets
  • PowerPoint: Create new presentations, edit existing decks, and generate summaries for client meetings

What’s the difference between licensed and unlicensed Copilot?

Core Copilot (Unlicensed)

  • Provides access to Copilot Chat within Microsoft 365
  • Best for exploring Copilot and supporting basic productivity needs

Important: As of April 2026, the Copilot add‑in will be removed from Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for unlicensed users. Copilot Chat will remain available, and Copilot functionality is expected to stay available in Outlook.

    • Word
    • Excel
