Overview
OneDrive can from time to time get out of Sync. If your local client isn't showing all your folders, please try the following.
Pause/Resume OneDrive Sync
- Right-click the OneDrive icon on the taskbar (or menubar/system tray/area next to your clock).
- Click the Gear > Pause Syncing > Choose how long you wish to pause (doesn't matter)
- Wait for the icon to show the Pause Icon, then click it again and select Resume Synching.
- Give OneDrive 45-120 minutes to process changes.
- If you still don't see your folders, try the next step.
Sign Out and back in to OneDrive.
- Right-click the OneDrive icon on the taskbar (or menu bar/system tray/area next to your clock).
- Click the Gear > Settings > Account > Unlink this PC > Unlink account
- Give it time to sign you out (this can take a few minutes).
- Once you have been signed out, you should see the "Sign in" option in Onedrive.
- When prompted to sign in, make sure you use your financialguide.com email address.
- You will be prompted to select to use the same folder. Don't change the location and select "Use this folder"
- When prompted to select your back up options, make sure all folders are enabled.
- Follow the rest of the prompts through the wizard.
- Give OneDrive 45-120 minutes to sync and see if your issue is resolved.
- If you still have problems, please email help@charteroakfinancial.com requesting assistance.
