LastPass Setup

Here is an overview of how to configure a user for LastPass to ensure they can recover their account.

• Create Account 

• Install 

• Add recovery options 

Here’s how I configure it for users: 

1. Navigate to lastpass.com/massmutual 

2. Enter alias@financialguide.com 

3. Click the link in the welcome email to sign up for an account 

4. Create an account using a personal email address 

5. Create a master password 

6. Setup LastPass for the primary browser (i.e., Chrome)

7. Open vault 

8. Go to Account Settings 

9. Click on Show Advanced Settings at the bottom 

10. Under SMS Account Recovery, add your cell phone number 

11. Setup DFA

12. Under Security Email, add user@vanitydomain.com email address. Be sure to verify it by clicking Update on the bottom 

13. Disable Chrome auto-fill feature
