Advisor360 - Household Split

As part of the data cleanup process, you may have to split household due to divorced couples or people moving out of the household.

  1. Determine which households need to be cleaned up.  (Ex.  Couples that got divorced?  Grown up children moved out of the household?)
  2. Identify the people or data that are moving out of the original existing household.
  3. Create a new household for the person and data that are moving into this household.  In original household – Contacts People Tab – Click on person’s name, click on 3 dots in upper right and select Move to Another Household.
  4. In the new household Administration Profile subtab - Household Accounts – link the accounts and insurance policies that are moving into this household.
    • To add or link a contract – Client360 Administration Profile Tab – under Household account click on +Add Accounts, select Accounts (securities related) or Policies (Insurance) and search with last name or contract number to add.
  5. Re-enter manually added policy information in the new household and delete from the original household under Insurance tab.
  6. Look for stored documents under the originally household within Client360 Documents tab and move them directly to the new household.  If re-uploading documents from local copy, then need to delete from original household.
  7. Re-enter Planning Tab data in the new household and delete from original household.
  8. Re-create groups in the new household and delete or edit in original household. (Administration Overview Tab)
  9. Update household or statement name from original household in Administration Overiew Tab – Click Edit next to Household Details.  (Ex. Remove one of the spouse’s name.)
  10. Delete Investor360 login ID from original household and re-create in new household. (Administration Investor360 Tab)
  11. Create quarterly statement setting and Benchmarks groups in the new household and delete or edit in original household. (Administration Benchmarks or Quarterly Statements Tab)
  12. Review both households to make sure all data have been moved and issues resolved.
