Resident and Non-Resident FAQ

How can I apply for a non-resident insurance license?

You can use either nipr.com or sircon.com to apply for a non-resident insurance license if your resident insurance license is in good standing with your home state.

Why am I not appointed with MassMutual in states where I hold a non-resident insurance license?

MassMutual will only pre-appoint in the three restricted states: Kansas, Montana, and Pennsylvania.  Please forward a copy of your license to your licensing coordinator and wait for appointment confirmation from your licensing coordinator before applying.

I hold the proper state license but I am getting a licensing edit while keying in an application.  What do I do?

The system must cycle when submitting business in a just-in-time appointment state.  If you get a licensing error when entering your application, please allow the system twenty minutes to cycle and then try to complete it.
