How to Check Your Version
- Open Settings from the Start Menu
- Click System > About
- Under the Windows specifications section, you will see the Version
- You should see version 22H2 listed, if not check for updates again as indicated below.

How to Upgrade Windows 10
Windows 10 21H2 (10.0.19044) will no longer be supported by Microsoft as of June 16th, 2023. Please upgrade your devices to Windows 10 22H2.
When checking for updates, please close out your applications and make sure all your work is saved before proceeding. Be sure to look for the "Feature Update" (see screenshots below) that you may have to click and approve manually.
- Open Settings from the Start Menu
- Click Update & Security
- Click Check for updates or Download and install if there are pending updates.
Once the update is downloaded and installed, you will need to restart your device.
Depending on the age of your device, the prompt may look a little different (see screenshot below)
My Updates Failed
- Try restarting your device.
- After restarting, try applying the updates again.

No Updates Listed
If you see no pending updates, you may have to manually download and apply the update from Microsoft.
- Open the following Link
- Click the "Update now" button.
- Run and follow the prompts in the installer.
- This will take 30-120 minutes depending on your machine.
