Sage X3 Excel Plugin Overwrites the First Worksheet

Issue
When using the Sage X3 Excel plugin, data on the first worksheet may be overwritten or no longer visible. The plugin replaces data on the first workbook sheet. 

Resolution

  1. Open the affected workbook.
  2. Move the worksheet containing your data to another position in the workbook.
  3. Insert a new blank worksheet.
  4. Move the blank worksheet to the first position.
  5. Save the workbook and reopen it with the Sage X3 plugin.

Recommendation
Keep an empty worksheet as the first sheet in any workbook used with the Sage X3 plugin. This gives the plugin a blank sheet to use and helps prevent it from overwriting the worksheet containing your data.
